 · Hi Sampvt, I use a motor mover from the company called Motor Mover Ltd; it is the type that acts directly onto the caravan’s tyres. I keep my caravan in my front drive, but access to it is very tight, necessitates a 90 degree turn and there is a slight gradient. The caravan mover consists of two 12V motor-powered rollers, a 12V electronic control box and a remote control. To function, the motor-powered rollers must be engaged against the tyres of your caravan. The optional cross actuation device enables you to engage both rollers at the same time from one side of your caravan. The only real proper caravan movers are the fixed ones such as Powrtouch reich etc, with powrtouch being the best by far, although all the fixed type are expensive, and add weight to the van, for towing purposes.
